Juniper Thyme Simple Syrup

Ingredients
.5 cup water
.5 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons juniper berries
6 sprigs fresh thyme
Directions
- Muddle the juniper berries and thyme in a small saucepan. Add sugar and water and bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. Strain, discard solids, store syrup in refrigerator for up to four weeks.
